Will there be a subsidy?

Every situation is different. Some clients will not require a subsidy because of their case mix and payer mix. For other clients, the financial reality is that their case mix and payer mix will not generate sufficient revenue to cover the costs of the practice. In either case, clients rely on the expertise of Clinical Colleagues to assure strong leadership and team building, clinical excellence, creative approach to scheduling, and compliant and thorough billing and collections.

What if we have a provider who isn't working out?

Clinical Colleagues works closely with its Regional Medical Officers, site Medical Director and client administration to assure that the right team of providers is recruited, and all providers are credentialed through the client's Credentials Committee. Occasionally a provider does not work out, experiences a personal crisis, or proves to not be a team member. Clinical Colleagues addresses concerns with the provider in a fair and balanced manner; however if there is no improvement, then the provider will no longer work for the client.

How soon can you begin services?

Lead time is important to having the best, most successful and least stressful contract start-up and it is ideal to have at least 90 days lead time. Clinical Colleagues understands that many clients come to us because they are facing a crisis and therefore have little lead time. In a crisis situation, Clinical Colleagues looks first to stabilize the clinical services to assure the best patient care. We will utilize known locum tenens providers if necessary, while we recruit the permanent team; however our Regional Medical Officers provide immediate team leadership and often clinical services as well. Our billing organization is prepared to act swiftly to complete the billing enrollment process to assure thorough and timely billing and revenue recovery.

How will Clinical Colleagues address the concerns of the medical staff or nursing staff?

Clinical Colleagues - its managing partners and Regional Medical Officers - attend client meetings, medical staff meetings, and will sit down with key members of the Medical Staff one-on-one to listen to concerns and address issues. Clinical Colleagues is visible and we answer the tough questions. We are colleagues in the truest sense. We are there with the administrative decision makers in defining and establishing the best service solutions.
